ISO27001 Services

Rest easy knowing we have your ISO27001 covered

ISO27001 is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that is a systematic approach to managing personal and sensitive information and data so that it remains available, confidential and intact. It can help businesses of all sizes, in any industry sector to keep information assets secure and avoid data breach, hacks and compromise.

ISO27001 is one of the most popular information security standards in the world, with certifications growing by more than 450% in the past ten years. It is recognised globally as a benchmark for good security practice, and enables organisations to achieve accredited certification by an accredited certification body following the successful completion of an audit.

ISO 27001 supports compliance with a host of laws, including the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the NIS Regulations (Network and Information Systems Regulations).

Greetings, Arsians! The Dealmaster is back today with more holiday deals to share. Of note are a few deals on the newest model of the Nintendo Switch. Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart all have Nintendo Switch deals right now that include up to $30 in gift cards or promotional credit when purchasing the console at its regular price of $299.

At Amazon, you can get the Nintendo Switch plus a $30 promotional credit (to be issued within one week of the console shipping) for $299. Best Buy has a similar offer, including a $30 Best Buy e-gift card with the purchase of a Nintendo Switch for $299. Walmart’s deal includes the Nintendo Switch, $20 Nintendo eShop credit, and a carrying case for $299.

Aside from console-and-game bundles, these are the best kinds of deals you can expect on the Nintendo Switch. The console rarely dips below its regular price of $299, so the more additional things you can get in a bundle price, the better. Retailers typically include games, accessories, and credit in such bundles, and we saw similar deals on the Nintendo Switch during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s likely that these deals from Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart will be the best deals on the Nintendo Switch that we’ll see between now and the end of 2019.

The Nintendo Switch has been one of the most popular holiday gifts since it came out a couple of years ago, and it’s worth noting that all of the deals mentioned above are on the newest Nintendo Switch model. This console increases the original model’s battery life to a maximum of 9 hours on a single charge, a welcome improvement from the maximum 6.5 hours of battery life in the original Switch.

If you’re not in the market for a Nintendo Switch, we have numerous other holiday deals on laptops, wireless earbuds, smart TVs, mobile accessories, and more. Check out the full list of deals below.

Dealmaster: Get holiday sales on Lenovo ThinkPads, board games, and more

Ars Technica

Today’s tech deal roundup brings a number of leftover sales from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Lenovo, for one, is still running a couple of deals on very good ThinkPad laptops: a configuration of its latest ThinkPad X1 Carbon with an 8th-gen Core i5, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB solid state drive is available for less than $1,000 with the code “THINKBF1,” while a similar config of the more business-oriented ThinkPad T490 is down to $749 with the code “THINKBF7”. We rate the former very highly—just note that its memory is not upgradeable, though it is a lighter and more premium-feeling machine than the latter.

Beyond that, we’re still seeing a number of Cyber Week sales going strong: the Razer DeathAdder Elite, our favorite gaming mouse, is still at a low of $25; a number of Instant Pot models remain on sale; and our favorite noise-cancelling headphones, the Sony WH-1000XM3, are still at their Black Friday discount of $70 off. The Dealmaster has a one-day Amazon sale on board games, a discount on retro NES-style controllers for the Nintendo Switch, deals on recommended microSD cards and portable power banks, and much more. Have a look at the full rundown below.

Dealmaster: The best Cyber Monday 2019 tech deals under $50

December 2, 2019 by admin

Greetings, Arsians! Today is Cyber Monday, and while the Dealmaster has a giant roundup of every worthwhile tech deal he can find, we understand that not everyone is looking for a big-ticket item. For those who only need to buy a smaller-scale gift or two, we’ve rounded up a few good Cyber Monday tech deals priced below $50.

Some of the highlights here include discounted media streamers: Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K is down to $25, its joint-lowest price to date, while Roku’s Streaming Stick+ is $20 off at $30. Our favorite wired gaming mouse (which still works well for non-gaming), the Razer DeathAdder Elite, is priced at an all-time low of $25, while one of our favorite portable USB-C power banks, the Aukey PB-Y13, is available for $21. Naturally, there are a metric ton of video game deals, but board games we like such as Catan and Pandemic are also at lower-than-usual prices for Cyber Monday.

If none of that appeals to you, there are also deals on Instant Pots, smart speakers, wireless chargers, microSD cards, and plenty more beyond that. Have a look at the full list below and see if anything works as a potential stocking stuffer (or just a cheap treat for yourself).

Dealmaster: All of the laptops worth buying during Cyber Monday 2019

Electronics sales are plentiful during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so this is one of the best times of the year to buy a new laptop. To help you make an informed decision while removing the need to wade through the sea of deals, the Dealmaster is back with all of the worthwhile laptop deals you can buy right now for Cyber Monday.

Of note from our list are a few deals on some of our favorite laptops, like the 7th-gen Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. Now you can get Lenovo’s premium workstation with an 8th-gen Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and a 14-inch 1080p display for $999. This slashes $400 off the laptop’s regular price, and in general, it’s always worth waiting for the rare sales that bring the price of the X1 Carbon down to $1,000 or less. This is the newest version of the X1 Carbon, but you’ll have to settle for an 8th-gen Intel processor rather than the newest 10th-gen processors (you can get the X1 Carbon with those, but you’ll have to pay more).

HP has a good deal on the Envy x360 15t—a model with a 10th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, a 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and 16GB of Optane memory is now just $649. The Envy 13 laptop impressed us by being an affordable alternative to the Spectre series of laptops, and this deal is for the 15-inch convertible version. It’s a laptop that’s arguably as sleek as its Spectre counterpart and nearly as powerful, and this Cyber Monday price makes it even more of a no-brainer purchase.

There are also a number of Chromebooks on sale today, including our current favorite: the Asus Chromebook Clip C434 with a Core m3 processor, an FHD touchscreen, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage is now $469. Not only is this one of the best designed Chromebooks you can buy, but it’s also a fairly powerful machine for the price. You can find plenty of Chromebooks for under $400 (some good ones are even more affordable today with Cyber Monday sales), but we recommend the Asus Chromebook Flip for anyone who plans to push the machine to its limits in terms of Web browsing, app usage, multitasking, and more. We also appreciate that it has a good battery life (roughly an average of 11.25 hours in our testing), a microSD card for expanded storage, and a handy convertible design.

Those are just a few of the laptops on sale today. Check out the full list of Cyber Monday laptop deals below.

Greetings, Arsians! The Dealmaster is back with a jumbo-sized roundup of hand-picked Cyber Monday tech deals. To be candid, many of the discounts we’re seeing on Black Friday’s sister holiday are similar to what we saw last week. We do have some new offers worth noting, including new Nintendo Switch bundles, a Sonos speaker sale, monitor deals, and more. Still, for online tech deals, Cyber Monday is primarily a good opportunity to capitalize on the discounts you may not have checked out on Black Friday.

Not that this is a bad thing. Even after sorting through all the junk on offer, we’ve still got a boatload of worthwhile deals that cover just about every type of tech gadget. As we did with our Black Friday deals list, we’ve highlighted a few deals we particularly like ahead of our full rundown. You can see it all below.

(P.S. Because the Dealmaster is a company guy, he’ll note that Ars has its own Cyber Monday sale: New Ars Pro++ subscribers can get discounts on a YubiKey 5c or YubiKey 5 NFC device.)
