EC releases study on Articles 42 and 43 of GDPR

The European Commission released a 255-page study on EU General Data Protection Regulation data protection certification mechanisms, examining Articles 42 and 43 of the Regulation, according to Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Privacy & Information Security Law Blog. Meanwhile, the European Data Protection Board is now accepting comments on Guidelines 2/2019 on the processing of personal data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in the context of the provision of online services to data subjects. Comments will be accepted until May 24.
