The shift to working at home during the COVID-19 pandemic is yet another reason to embrace the “zero trust” strategy, says Dave Lewis of Duo Security, who provides guidance.

In an interview previewing an upcoming virtual executive roundtable (see audio link below photo), Lewis discusses:

  • Whether the COVID19 pandemic will lead to a permanent shift to remote work;
  • The opportunities and threats of shadow IT;
  • Advice for security professionals on how best to ensure security for teleworkers.

Lewis is global advisory CISO for Duo Security, a unit of Cisco. He is the founder of the security site Liquidmatrix Security Digest and co-host of the Liquidmatrix podcast as well as host of the Plaintext and Murder Board podcasts. Lewis serves on the advisory boards for several firms.
